Who we are

When you fill in the enquiry form
We ask for three things: your name, your email address and your phone number. We use them for one purpose, so Rick can get back to you about the wrapping course. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to anyone who is not helping us run the business.
Alongside your details the form records which advert or page brought you to us, if any. That is a Google click identifier and some campaign labels. It tells us which advert produced the enquiry and says nothing about you personally.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked us to contact you about a course we sell, and replying is what you expected when you pressed the button.
When you call us
If you arrived from one of our Google adverts, your call may be connected through a Google forwarding number. We are told that a call happened, how long it lasted and which advert it came from. We are not told anything else, and we do not record calls. Full detail is in our cookie policy.
When you use the chat window
Anything you type is processed to answer you. Please do not put payment details or anything sensitive into it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become a booking: 12 months from your last contact with us. Long enough to pick a conversation back up, short enough not to sit on details nobody needs.
Records of customers who book a course: 6 years after the end of our relationship with you, because UK tax and accounting law requires business records to be kept for six years.
Advert click identifiers attached to an enquiry: 12 months. After that they can no longer be matched to anything useful.
Chat conversations: for the conversation, and while Botpress holds it as our processor. Anything that becomes an enquiry is kept as an enquiry.
When a period ends we delete the information or make it anonymous.
Who else sees it
We keep your details in tools we use to run the business. The companies behind those tools process data on our instructions and cannot use it for their own purposes: Framer hosts this website, Notion is where we keep the enquiry so it does not get lost, n8n moves the enquiry from the form into Notion and alerts Rick, Botpress runs the chat window, Telegram sends Rick the alert, and Google handles advertising and call measurement.
Some of these are outside the UK. Where information goes abroad it is done under the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. We will also share information where the law requires it.
Automated decisions
We do not make any decision about you by automated means. A person reads every enquiry and Rick makes the call.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete it, stop using it or restrict how we use it, or object to us using it under legitimate interests.
Email wrappedupcars@gmail.com and we will answer within one month. There is no charge.
If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Children
This site and our courses are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change what we collect or why, we update this page and change the date at the top.
